The Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has commenced the mobilization of votes from polling units for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Spokesperson of the Orji Uzor Kalu Campaign Organization, Sunny Idika, disclosed this in a chat with ABN TV on Saturday evening, saying the visionary leadership and excellent performance of Kalu, who is the Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District have endeared the APC to the grassroots.
He said the grassroots campaign was to mobilize women and youths to spread the gospel of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu; Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and other progressive candidates.
According to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu Campaign Organization, the former Abia state governor has produced over 10,000 campaign materials to support and mobilize women and youths drawn from different local government areas, wards and polling units across the state.
He encouraged the members of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s political family to campaign from door-to-door, hamlet-to-hamlet and neighbourhood-to-neighbourhood for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
