Chairman, Senate Committee on Privatization, Dr. Orji Kalu has commiserated with the government and people of Adamawa state over the demise of Senator Jonathan Zwingina who represented Adamawa South Senatorial district in the National Assembly.
Extolling the virtues of the deceased, Kalu stated that the late politician played various roles in nation building.
The former Governor in a condolence message, urged the Zwingina family to sustain the remarkable qualities of the deceased.
He said, “I mourn the passing of Senator Jonathan Zwingina.
“The deceased was a consummate politician and philanthropist who served the nation in various capacities.
“He made invaluable contributions to the social, political and economic development of Nigeria.
“The late politician will be greatly missed”.
Kalu prayed for eternal rest for the Adamawa-born politician.
