The OUK Patriotic Confederates is appealing to all Nigerians to maintain decorum in the way and manners they will be campaigning for their preferred candidate during the 2023 general election.
The confederates are aware that for fairness and equity, especially as a result of the present state of the national peace and security in the country, there should be a balance in the shift of power across the six geopolitical zones in the country to promote trust and equity.
As it stands now, the South and North Eastern Regions are the two regions that have not presented a president for this nation. And Since the North West is about to complete their two terms in office, it will be good for power to be unanimously relocated to the south, and in clear conscience, the southeast is presently standing as the right region to present the next president for the nation.
But since there is no constitutional provision for the rotation of power across the geopolitical zones, we are appealing to every Nigerians to campaign for their preferred candidates without names callings and blackmailing the unpreferred candidates.
There is no doubt that we are staunch supporters of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State, South-East Nigeria. We wholeheartedly believe that he can mend bridges and heal the nation of her many ailments.
We want all Nigerians to understand that after the politicking period, the country will remain as one, so using abusive words on one candidate or another tribe to make a political point will not do us any good.
We are urging every Nigerian to join us in the 2023 race with Senator Uzor Kalu. He is a detribalized leader with the positive zeal to lead our country on the path of peace, unity and progress.
