RESOLUTIONS.
At a well-attended meeting of the Leaders and Major Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ohafia LGA, convened on Friday, 29th August 2025, at Ikenga Plaza Hotel, Ebem Ohafia, members deliberated extensively on the prevailing political climate and the performance of elected representatives of our great party. After exhaustive discussions, the following resolutions were unanimously adopted:
1. Reaffirmation of Support:
We reaffirm our unwavering support for the leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and commend his bold, innovative, and people-oriented economic policies designed to reposition Nigeria for sustainable growth and prosperity.
2. Appreciation of Distinguished Leadership:
We express profound appreciation to Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, representing Abia North Senatorial District and Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, deputy Speaker, Federal House of representatives for their exemplary leadership, quality representation, and numerous developmental contributions to our zone and Nigeria at large.
3.Vote of Confidence: We unanimously pass a vote of confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu and Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu, acknowledging their dedication, resilience, and commitment to the progressive ideals of the APC.
4. Commendation of Elected Officials:
We commend all elected leaders under the APC platform for their tireless efforts in advancing the interests of our people and upholding the principles of good governance.
OBSERVATIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS.
The meeting observed with satisfaction that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has injected renewed purpose, direction, and hope into the governance of our nation. We pledge to continue supporting his administration in the quest to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
We also recognize Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s outstanding representation at the National Assembly, particularly his contributions to infrastructural development and empowerment across Ohafia LGA. Notable projects include:
*Construction and rehabilitation of strategic roads.
*Building of new classroom blocks and renovation of existing ones.
*Installation of solar-powered street lights across Abiriba, Nkporo, and Ohafia clans.
*Youth empowerment initiatives.
*Support schemes for indigent women.
*Strong backing for farmers and agricultural development.
These interventions have had direct and lasting impacts on the socio-economic well-being of our people. We therefore urge Senator Kalu to sustain his developmental strides and continue prioritizing the welfare of our communities.
Further, we passionately appeal that Ohafia LGA indigenes be given great opportunities and appointments at the federal level on the basis of our support and loyalty to APC,so as to ensure active inclusion in the governance structure of the country.
FUTURE OUTLOOK.
As we prepare for the 2027 general elections, we reaffirm our collective resolve to reward President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s visionary leadership and outstanding service with overwhelming votes and total support. We are confident that his continued representation will bring even greater development to Ohafia LGA and Abia North at large.
CALL TO ACTION.
We call on all APC members in Ohafia LGA and beyond to remain steadfast, united, and vigilant in promoting the ideals of our party. We urge the faithful to continue supporting our elected leaders while working collectively to ensure the sustained growth and dominance of the APC.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and robust contributions during this meeting. We firmly believe that with unity of purpose and collective commitment, the APC will continue to deliver progress and prosperity to our people and to Nigeria.
