A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Ejike Ikwuagwu, has issued a stern warning to self-acclaimed blogger, Iroegbu Emenike, asking him to desist from interfering in the political affairs of Abia State.

Chief Ikwuagwu reminded Emenike of his Cross River roots, insisting that his attempts to meddle in Abia politics are misleading and unacceptable.

“Iroegbu Emenike should refrain from interfering in Abia politics. He is a Biakpan man from Biase Local Government Area of Cross River State. His father is from Cross River, not Abia, and that fact cannot be changed,” Ikwuagwu declared.

The APC chieftain further stated that as a Biakpan indigene, Emenike’s political identity lies in Cross River South Senatorial District, not Abia North.

“Let me remind him that his senatorial district is Cross River South Senatorial District and his federal constituency is Biase/Akamkpa Federal Constituency. He should face his people and stop causing unnecessary distraction in Abia,” he said.

Chief Ikwuagwu cautioned Emenike against attempting to cause disunity in Abia, stressing that the people of Abia North Senatorial District are capable of speaking for themselves.

“Abia North has responsible, credible, and educated people. Iroegbu Emenike is not, and can never be, the spokesperson of Abia North. He should not set Abia State on fire with careless and divisive comments,” Ikwuagwu warned.

He concluded with a firm call on the blogger to stay within his lane:
“If he wants relevance, let him go back to Cross River and contest election there. He cannot use Abia politics to look for attention. Abia belongs to Abians, not outsiders.”
